Eltel hires Head of Power Transmission and Distribution in Germany

Appointment of Kaltenborn is the next high level move at Eltel to prepare ground for future market expansion in Europe. The Group has an ambition to become the leading Infranet company at European level and at this Germany is one of the most interesting markets in its expansion portfolio. Currently Eltel is active in the fixed and mobile telecom build and care services in Germany.

Kaltenborn is joining Eltel from a Vice President’s position at ABB AG’s T&D Service. Prior to this he has served in a number of German and globally recognized companies like Bartec, Gustav Hensel and Areva/Alstom giving him a solid background in the T&D business.

Kaltenborn has a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology of Aachen. He also has a doctorate from Darmstadt University of Technology. At Eltel he will be reporting to Fredrik Menander, President of Power Transmission and he will be located at Eltel Infranet GmbH in Hannover.

Kaltenborn will start in his new position on August 1, 2013.
