Stockholm’s Public transport, SL, trusts Eltel with a contract extension

More than 700 000 people travel daily by public transport in Stockholm. Eltel’s duty is 24/7 to perform fault repair and maintenance services for SL’s information systems, and thus help SL to keep public traffic running with minimal interruptions.

The contract extension includes undergrounds, trams and SL’s commuter train and bus services systems, including everything from data transmission to transport information signs, security cameras, locks and access control systems, air conditioning and repeater systems for traffic radios.

Eltel has gained SL’s trust through an earlier contract since 2005, and now SL has chosen to extend the current contract with two more years. The new contract is in force till the end of October 2015 and it also includes an option for two more years.
